Krista Phillips, associate AIA and a senior intern architect with RIM Architects, was selected by the American Institute of Architects to serve on the National Architectural Accrediting Board visiting team.
In this capacity, Phillips will be traveling to various U.S. universities and colleges to assist the NAAB in reviewing architectural programs for accreditation. The visiting team will review documentation of the program's institutional context, examine student and faculty exhibits, conduct open-ended interviews, and tour the facilities. She will serve a four-year term for the NAAB from 2006-2009.
Phillips has 10 years of Architectural experience in Anchorage, Oregon and Australia. She graduated from the University of Kentucky and received a master's of architecture degree from the University of New South Wales (Sydney, Australia).
RIM Architects also has added Wayne Saucier, information technology/business development manager, to its team.
He brings five years of information technology management and Web site design experience to the firm. He was the former president and owner of DC Design & Consulting Inc, a local Web design firm.
