Hydraulic shock absorbers.

Designfax • August, 2005 • Innovations

The tamper-proof, self-adjusting 6000 series Cushioneer obviates readjustments because of impact or temperature changes. Available in 1/2-, 1- and 2-in. stroke models, the shock absorbers provide smooth control of impact energy as low as 15 in.-lbs up to 1500 in.-lbs, with a built-in safety margin. Speed variations from temperature changes are rendered imperceptible by the use of constant-viscosity silicon fluid instead of hydraulic oil. They are hermetically sealed for operation in any position over millions of cycles without leaking.
