resignation effective Sept. 30.
ENRIQUE V. IGLESIAS, president of the Inter-American Development
Bank, a multilateral lending agency, announced his resignation effective
Sept. 30. Iglesias was first elected to head the bank in 1988. His
current term was due to expire in April 2008.
