ACAT joins NASBA Center for the Public Trust.(Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation becomes a member of National As


The Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation (ACAT) has become a founding member of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) Center for the Public Trust. In making the announcement, ACAT Director Milton Brown (and Chair for the Center) said, "ACAT is proud to support this outstanding effort, which focuses on the positive activities of the accounting and business communities." The Center sponsors innovative programs to promote ethics and highlight best practices. Established in 2004 as a nonprofit organization, it is supported by donations from organizations and individuals.
