Foundation highlights at convention.

In an annual tradition, representatives of NSA affiliated state organizations (ASOs) presented contributions to the NSA Scholarship Foundation during the General Assembly at the 60th Annual Convention. The Foundation wishes to recognize these 22 organizations for their generous support:

Accounting, Financial and Tax Professionals of New Jersey; Alabama Association of Accountants; Alaska Society of Independent Accountants; Arkansas Society of Accountants; California Society of Accounting and Tax Professionals; Florida Society of Accountants; Georgia Association of Public Accountants; Hawaii Association of Public Accountants; Idaho Association of Public Accountants; Independent Accountants Association of Illinois; Louisiana Society of Independent Accountants; Missouri Society of Accountants; Montana Society of Public Accountants; Nebraska Society of Independent Accountants; New Mexico Society of Public Accountants; New York Society of Independent Accountants; Oklahoma Society of Public Accountants; Oregon Association of Independent Accountants; Public Accountants Society of Colorado; Texas Association of Financial and Tax Specialists; Washington Association of Accountants; and Wisconsin Association of Accountants.

The activities at convention--the Scholarship Walk, the Texas Hold-em Poker Tournament, the Live Auction, the Millard Ashley Memorial Fund drive, and the ASO contributions--generated more than $34,000 in support of the Foundation. We appreciate the generosity of sponsors and contributors to these activities which help ensure the future of the accounting profession.
