Northrim Bank hired Steven Hartung as executive vice president, quality assurance officer. Hartung is responsible for developing strategies to optimize Northrim's loan portfolio and assisting Northrim's loan officers in analyzing loan proposals. Hartung will provide financial and strategic analysis as a member of Northrim's senior management team.

Hartung has more than 30 years of experience in finance and management in Alaska, including 10 years as an independent financial consultant, 17 years in finance and operations with Alaska International Industries and 10 years as an audit manager with KPMG LLP.

Janet DeLeon was promoted to assistant branch manager at Northrim's Jewel Lake Branch. DeLeon has 12 years of banking experience and has worked for Northrim for one year. Rina Suesue was hired as assistant vice president, branch manager and Shannon Carter was hired as assistant branch manager for Northrim's float pool. Suesue has 20 years of banking experience in Alaska. Carter has worked for Northrim since June 2005 and has six years of experience in branch operations and consumer lending.
