GeoEngineers acquires Oregon Company.(High Desert Geo-Technologies Inc.)(Brief article)

GeoEngineers, a local Anchorage earth science and technology company, announced it has acquired High Desert Geo-Technologies Inc. High Desert is a Bend, Ore., company that specializes in custom GIS solutions and services for property, asset and land management. GeoEngineers is a national earth science and technology company with headquarters in Redmond, Wash.

Terms of the sale were not disclosed. The Bend company will become GeoEngineers' 14th office. The High Desert staff will remain a part of GeoEngineers. As noted by Kurt Anderson, GeoEngineers' CIO and corporate manager in charge of the Bend operation, "The people at High Desert are a natural extension of our technology group and broaden our capability to provide our clients with easy online access to their business information."
