TEI hosts tax organization heads.
The International Tax Directors Forum is an informal organization
whose members are the chief executive officers of tax organizations
around the world. The group meets once a year to benchmark and exchange
ideas on strategic planning, effective use of technology (including the
Internet), relationships with government agencies, educational
certification, professional standards, membership trends, and other
issues. This year, TEI hosted the meeting at the end of May, with
representatives from Ireland, United Kingdom, Spain, Australia, and
Canada participating. Pictured above at the participants in this
year's meeting (left to right): Bob Dommett, Chartered Institute on
Taxation (U.K.); Mark Redmond, Irish Taxation Institute; Christine
Brunswick, ABA Section of Taxation (U.S.); Timothy McCormally, TEI
(U.S.); Pedro Leon y Francia, Asosiacion Espanola de Asesores Fiscales
(Spain); Noel Rowland, Tax Institute of Australia; and Steve Richardson,
Canadian Tax Foundation. (Neither the ABA Tax Section nor the Canadian
Tax Foundation are formally members of ITDF.)
