Alaska Professional Sports Inc., owner of Alaska Wild, an Anchorage-based arena football team, has filed registration with the state of Alaska for a public offering of its common stock made through its Offering Circular.
The Boston Celtics and the Green Bay Packers are the only sports teams in the United States to have secured capitalization through a public offering. APS is attempting to be the third professional sports organization to enter a public offering.
The Price of APS common stock is $10 per share, with a minimum purchase of 2,000 shares and thereafter in blocks of 500 shares. Copies of the Offering Circular may be obtained only in the state of Alaska and only from: Alaska Professional Sports Inc., P.O. Box 110385, Anchorage, Alaska 99511.
