Day spa opens in South Anchorage.(SERVICES)

Intuitions Day Spa and Salon opened for business recently in South Anchorage. Specializing in relaxation and rejuvenation of the mind and body, Intuitions offers a variety of spa treatments to its clientele.

Intuitions is owned and operated by Katie and Jonathan Chadwick and is located at 11001 O'Malley Centre Drive, Suite 101, next to the Alaska Club Summit. Hours of operation are Monday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.; and Sunday, 12 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Intuitions services include a foot soak before all spa treatments and an exclusive Swiss shower. A specialized skin care line is Sothys, a European line licensed to skin care therapists and day spas all over the world. The staff includes a team of hair designers and provides massage therapy, manicures and pedicures.
