MedImmune, Inc., based in Gaithersburg, Maryland, has partnered
with Infinity Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Cambridge, Massachusetts, to access
two of Infinity's drug development programs targeting different
cancer medications. MedImmune will make an initial payment of $70
million for use of such Infinity products as IPI-504, and up to $430 in
milestone payments.
