Colville Inc., an oilfield service company on the North Slope, announced the promotion of Rick Hofreiter to vice president of operations. Hofreiter will oversee daily operations, respond to clients, and manage the flow of business on the Slope. This includes meeting client, staff and fleet needs in the field and on the ramp to safely deliver vital fuel and solid waste services in the Arctic. Colville also owns and operates the Prudhoe Bay General Store and Brooks Range Supply in Deadhorse. Colville Inc. President, Mark Helmericks, said, "Rick is a wonderful combination of North Slope experience, encyclopedic knowledge of the oil field, and good humored integrity. I'm delighted to have his talents for both the company and our clients as the new vice president of operations." Hofreiter has roots with Colville, starting with the fuel division and until recently was Colville's general manager.
