Radware (NASDAQ: RDWR), Mahwah, N.J., a leading global provider of
intelligent, integrated application delivery solutions for
business-smart networking, has announced that it has entered into a
contract with Harris Corporation, to provide its robust line of security
solutions to the United States Government under the Network Centric
Solutions (NETCENTS) Air Force Contract. Harris recently became a
NETCENTS prime contractor through its acquisition of Multimax
Incorporated.
NETCENTS is a five-year, $9 billion IDIQ (Indefinite-Delivery,
Indefinite-Quantity) contract to provide the Air Force, Department of
Defense, and other federal agencies with a complete range of IT,
networking, telephony, and security services and solutions, that are
interoperable with Air Force and DoD Standardized Networking Technical
Architectures.
"We're honored to be a part of the Harris team as
NETCENTS provides Radware with an excellent opportunity to increase our
federal market presence," said Larry Sells, vice president of
Radware Federal. "This relationship with Harris combined with the
advanced security protection offered by our behavior-based, intrusion
prevention and denial-of-service (DoS) products, will be instrumental in
our efforts to help serve federal agencies."
Harris has created a skilled and experienced team for NETCENTS,
comprised of both large and small businesses that have highly developed
capabilities covering each and every element of the Performance Work
Statement and other contract requirements. These capabilities include
Networking for LAN/WAN/MAN systems, Telephony, Security, Voice, Video
and Data Communications, software, hardware and integrated solutions
that assist in supporting the Global Information Grid (GIG)
architecture.
"We pay very close attention to the core technology
competencies of our partners and are pleased to welcome Radware on the
Harris NETCENTS team," said Ted Hengst, president of Harris IT
Services. "We're looking forward to working with Radware in
offering its line of application and network security solutions, which
will also add to our ability to expand our Air Force business."
