The Hemophilia Treatment Center of Henry Ford Health System is
collaborating with a treatment center in India to evaluate the use of
acupuncture as a method to reduce chronic pain for individuals with
hemophilia, an inherited bleeding disorder. The two-center comparative
study between Henry Ford and the Dharwad Hemophilia Treatment Center in
India is part of the Twinning Program approved by the World Federation
of Hemophilia.
