Become a Part of the Chamber's PR & Marketing Advisory Council - It Works for You!

The Detroit Regional Chamber's PR/Marketing Advisory Council advises the Chamber on providing strategic communication and opportunities for members across the 10-country region. This council - comprised of PR, marketing, advertising, media and graphics professionals - also advises the Chamber on its benefits, events, services, public policy communication, branding and other initiatives.

Chamber members at the Business Builder level and above are invited to participate in the Council. Participants must be in the public relations, corporate communications, marketing, fundraising, event planning or advertising field. Meetings are held quarterly.

Speedway and Kroger Discounts Available for Chamber Members

Chamber members can enjoy new discounts from Speedway and Kroger! For only $30, members will receive two Speedway cards and one Kroger card (cards can also be purchased separately) to receive a discount on gas and cash back on groceries.

The Speedway discount card is open to employees of member companies. The card includes a yearly fee of $24 and offers a gas discount of $.06 off of regular unleaded, $.08 off mid-grade and $.10 off premium gas.

The Kroger card includes a one-time $6 fee, and members will receive 4 percent back in the form of a quarterly rebate check. The card also comes with a pre-loaded amount of $5. which means members pay only $1 for the card!
