David Michael has announced the opening of its new David Michael de
Mexico SA de CV facility in Lerma, Estado de Mexico. The new location
spans 6,000 square meters (approx. 19,685 feet), and houses numerous
laboratories, including applications, culinary, sensory, quality
control, flavor creation and microbiology. Described as a
"world-class production facility," it includes the capability
of manufacturing liquid and powder slends, emulsions, washed oils,
beverage concentrates, among other flavor related products. The company
reports that the Lerma facility will enable it to better serve their
global, Mexican and Latin American clients and work more efficiently
towards the completion of various projects. In addition, it will allow
for increased efficiencies in manufacturing, freight and warehousing.
