Canada is participating in the proposed international agreement on
the Hazardous and Noxious Substances Convention (liability insurance)
and Protocol (emergency response), which deal with marine chemical
spills. Transport Canada now has a Web page for the Protocol at
www.tc.gc.ca/MarineSafety/oep/ ers/hns/menu.htm.
