The Ichikizaki Fund for Young Chemists provides financial assistance to young chemists who are showing unique achievements in basic research by facilitating their participation in international conferences or symposia. This year's recipients are: Andre Beauchemin, MCIC, University of Ottawa; Robert Britton, MCIC, Simon Fraser University; Shawn K. Collins, MCIC, Universite de Montreal; Jean-Francois Paquin, MCIC, Universite Laval; Andreea Schmitzer, MCIC, Universite de Montreal; and Christopher J. Wilds, MCIC, Concordia University.
