JSM Music, the largest commercial music production company in
America, and WoozyFly, the online music media company devoted to
independent artists, have formed a strategic partnership to produce
"The Set at JSM Music" -- an online music video series
featuring the hottest up and coming independent artists.
In addition, WoozyFly and JSM Music have entered into an agreement
to represent select indie artists and present them in a cutting edge way
to the advertising community for inclusion in television, radio and
multimedia advertisements in the multi-billion-dollar advertising
industry.
The Set at JSM is the premiere video series on WoozyFly.com and
will debut in October with the launch of the site. At launch, there will
be more than 30 episodes of the program featuring such bands as Kittie,
Spottiswoode, Dolly Rots, Zack Hillyard, Devante, and Hysterics
performing live sets from JSM Studios.
JSM Music founder and president Joel Simon, a 2007 honoree of the
coveted "Crain's Business 40 Under 40," who has also been
appointed to the Board of WoozyFly, is excited about this new venture:
"As the music industry shake out continues to dissipate the
antiquated record company model for artist development, distribution,
and marketing, WoozyFly's model and our partnership is a unique
breakthrough and blueprint for unified success for all involved."
JSM Music is the largest commercial music production company in
