SAUDI ARABIA - New Saudi Aramco
Board.
King Abdullah on July 31, 2007, issued a decree reconstituting
Saudi Aramco's board of directors for a period of three years
beginning on Sept. 27, with Minister Na'imi retained as its
chairman. The new members are: King Fahd University of Petroleum and
Minerals Rector Khaled ibn Saleh al-Sultan; Saudi Aramco Senior VP for
Engineering & Project Management Salim S. al-Aydh; former chairman
of the Royal Dutch/Shell Group Mark Moody-Stuart; and former executive
VP of the International Finance Corp and Managing Director of the World
Bank Peter Woicke.
The other members of the new board are: Finance Minister Assaf;
King Abdul-Aziz City for Science and Technology President Suwaiyel;
Secretary-General of the Supreme Economic Council (SEC) and Chairman of
the Capital Markets Authority Abdul-Rahman al-Tuwaijri; Saudi Aramco CEO
Jum'ah; Saudi Aramco Sr VP for Refining, Marketing and
International Abdul-Aziz ibn Fahd al-Khayyal; Saudi Aramco Sr VP for
Industrial Relations Khaled A. al-Faleh; and former president/CEO of
Texaco James W. Kinnear.
