$419,826 in 2006, according to the recently released 2007 edition of
"Survey of Law Firm Economics" published by Altman Weil
(Newtown Square, PA). According to the survey, which includes
information from over 18,000 lawyers, law firm expenses rose 2.9% in
2006 while per lawyer income was up 5.3%. The survey reports on law firm
revenue, profitability, compensation, billing rates, billable hours and
staffing ratios in U.S. law firms in 2006.
