ID Management will enter a new phase this month as renowned digital vaulting specialists Cyber-Ark together with GSS, one of the UKs largest security systems integrators, claims to deliver a complete password control and identity management solution as a complete package at the RSA show in London.

This latest development will offer enterprises a three pronged approach to the management and lifecycle of administrative passwords, information and access control, thereby creating a holistic ID Management solution. It also claims to combine the Inter-Business Vault, a secure infrastructure for cross-enterprise exchange of highly-sensitive information together with the Sensitive Document Vault, which allows enterprises to secure, store and manage documents alongside the Enterprise Password Vault, which provides solutions for secure storage and management of administrative, emergency and service account passwords. "It's all well and good creating a system to manage your privileged passwords, but you also need to make sure that the people who have access to these passwords are not then abusing their privileges within the organisation and amongst their partners--we feel that this leading edge solution is definitely the way forward to combat these security issues" Cyber-Ark commented.
