Heineken USA announced two new executive
appointments.
Heineken USA announced two new executive appointments; Scott Blazek
has been appointed regional vice president of sales for the
company's Central region and John Doolan has been promoted to
regional vice president of sales for the company's Northeast
region. Doolan replaces Chris Steffanci, who was recently elevated to
the role of senior vice president for sales and member of the Heineken
USA management committee. Blazek joined the company in October.
Doolan's appointment is effective November 12. In their new
positions, both Blazek and Doolan will enhance and execute a targeted
regional business strategy that delivers the Heineken USA portfolio of
imported brands to their respective business areas in partnership with
company's distributor network. They will also be charged with
driving Heineken USA's regional financial performance, while
identifying and pursuing business development and growth opportunities.
Doolan joined Heineken USA in January 2004 as the zone director for the
metropolitan New York area. Most recently, he served as the New England
zone director, managing and consolidating the Massachusetts distributor
network, resulting in the creation of one of the top performing states
in the country. Prior to joining Heineken USA, Doolan held several roles
at Diageo-Guinness USA. Prior to joining Heineken USA, Blazek was with
Diageo-Guinness USA, where he started his career in the beer, spirits
and wine industry. While at Diageo, he held various sales and marketing
positions with the company, including most recently serving as regional
sales director for the Illinois, Indiana and Missouri region.
