Rental Car Center opens at Anchorage
Airport.

Venture Development Group opened the Consolidated Rental Car Center
at the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport in July. The new
center allows travelers to check in at rental car desks then locate
their vehicle in the nearby garage-avoiding sometimes inclement weather.
The change also frees up more parking in the public garage. The center,
which connects to the airport via the existing tunnel, is the fifth of
its kind nationwide, according to Venture Development Group officials.
