Daniel Vermedal was hired as assistant vice president and controller at Juneau-based Alaska Pacific Bank. He previously served as finance director for Catholic Community Service in Juneau. He is a certified public accountant with 17 years of accounting experience. Cheryl Crawford was chosen for the new post of vice president/special projects coordinator. She has worked for the bank for the past 12 years, first as internal auditor and eventually working as controller.
