Northern Ireland News reports that Kilrea-based Mullin's ice Cream has officially opened its new factory and office premises after investing 775 thousand [pounds sterling] ($1.6 million) in a development program assisted by Invest NI, part of the government's Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment that is committed to improving the international competitiveness of Northern Ireland businesses.

The family-run Mullin's operates more than 50 ice cream scoop parlors across Northern Ireland.
