Nova Science Publishers (Hauppauge, NY) has published
"Americans with Disabilities: State and Local Issues," a new
book that covers legal issues related to those areas where state and
local levels of government interact on programs for Americans with
disabilities. This includes government funding for health care providers
and benefit plans, on placing the elderly or mentally challenged in
proper facilities, institutions and housing programs, and various
financial programs created for the disabled. Three main sections are
titled State and Local Financing and Systems Reform, Local and
Individual Strategies for 21st Century Long-Term Services and Supports:
Financing and Systems Reform, and Recommendations for Incremental and
Clean Slate Reform. The book costs $69.
