Sage Publications (Thousand Oaks, CA) this month released the
two-volume "Encyclopedia of Psychology and Law," a reference
set that encompasses the full range of legal issues, from the cognitive
(e.g. eyewitness testimony) to the social (e.g. jury behavior). It
includes scholarship from all of psychology's sub-disciplines as
well as various domains of law, legal practice, and public policy. The
A-Z entries examine a variety of psychology and law topics separated
into categories such as: criminal responsibility, death penalty,
education and professional development, juvenile offenders, mental
health law, police and investigative psychology, psychology of criminal
behavior, sentencing and incarceration, trial processes and violence
risk assessment. The new set costs $350.
