Mercado and Omniture unveil new
solution.
Mercado Software and Omniture have announced a new tool for online
retailers that will enable them to maximise conversion rates by
integrating Web analytics through Omniture Genesis with Mercado's
site search, navigation and merchandising functions. The companies have
combined forces following their joint involvement with the online retail
arm of Blacks, the United Kingdom's outdoor experts.
"For Blacks the integration between these two solutions is the
natural evolution of a consumer-driven commercial proposition,"
said Simon Maylott, Blacks' director of new business channels.
"We have been using the customer insight garnered through Omniture
and have fed this into our Mercado-powered Search and Merchandising
strategy for sometime now, with material benefit. Dynamically marrying
