QuietCare[R], a behavioral monitoring system created by Living Independently Group, Inc., has alert features such as Wander and Night Motion to help caregivers provide early intervention. Wander Alerts notify staff that a resident is leaving his or her apartment or room at night, a behavior common among residents with dementia or Alzheimer's. Night Motion Alerts uses bedroom sensors positioned to trigger as soon as a resident leaves the bed.
