The Halo Safety Ring, available from HD Supply, is a patented
institutional bed mobility device that prevents lateral mattress
movement and gap space in critical zones one, two, three, and four. The
safety ring meets and exceeds the Hospital Bed Safety Workgroup and Food
and Drug Administration's final dimensional guidelines to prevent
bed entrapment. HD Supply carries one- and two-sided models and a
one-sided model with hardware for Invacare beds.
