Hershey, which has seen a slew of changes at board level, has,
among others, appointed new men in charge of its North American and
international operations. Last month, the Hershey Trust, the controlling
shareholder in Hershey, shook up the company's board of directors
in a move that saw six directors leave. J. P. Bilbrey, who has led
Hershey's international operations for four years, has become
president of Hershey North America and lead the company's U.S. and
Canadian businesses. Ted Jastrzebski has moved from his role of vice
president, international finance and planning and become president of
Hershey's international arm. Meanwhile, Hershey has promoted chief
marketing officer Michele Buck to a position of global chief marketing
officer. The eight-strong executive team will also include CFO Bert
Alfonso and vice president for global R&D Dan Azzara.
