Section of Environment, Energy and Resources has released "Global
Climate Change and U.S. Law," a new 780-page paperback book that
covers the federal, state and local laws and litigation that are
developing around the subject of climate change.

Environment, Energy and Resources has released "Global Climate
Change and U.S. Law," a new 780-page paperback book that covers the
federal, state and local laws and litigation that are developing around
the subject of climate change. It includes an overview of the factual
and scientific background, and addresses the international and national
frameworks of climate change law, including clean air regulation, civil
remedies and the impact of the Kyoto Protocol on domestic actions. It
examines emerging regional, state and local actions and covers issues of
concern to corporations, including disclosure, fiduciary duties,
insurance and subsidies, and concludes with an examination of the
various efforts to reduce emissions, including voluntary programs,
emissions trading programs, and carbon sequestration. An accompanying
Web site carries content updates on new developments. It costs $60.
