The National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA; Louisville, CO) has released "How to Try a Jury Case: Trial Tactics," a paperback book that offers information on how to prepare a case for trial including opening statement, presentation of evidence, direct and cross-examination, and closing argument.

The National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA; Louisville, CO) has released "How to Try a Jury Case: Trial Tactics," a paperback book that offers information on how to prepare a case for trial including opening statement, presentation of evidence, direct and cross-examination, and closing argument. Designed to help the beginning practitioners and law students identify and avoid common mistakes, the book covers "most of the hurdles facing a new jury trial lawyer," NITA said. Content also includes coverage of: preparation, including investigation, settlement evaluation, and discovery; trial commencement; conducting voir dire; rehabilitation of witnesses; and, the expert witness. The new volume costs $65.
