Augrid Global Holdings Corp. is close to buying a "leading developer of products that serve the rapidly growing citrus and vegetable juice consumer markets", it said. The holding company formed last year said it hopes to take advantage of the trend in the United States and abroad for "health promoting" beverages. The juice company in question has a fifty-year history in the juice business, with a customer base that has included Wal-Mart and other leading supermarket chains, as well as overseas markets in Central and South America.
