A new group vice president of consumer products was announced at
Tyson Foods. Long-time senior executive, Donnie Smith, assumes the
position immediately, replacing Scott McNair, who is leaving Tyson to
join The Schwan Food Co. Smith began his career with Tyson in poultry
operations in 1980 before becoming a senior leader in the purchasing and
supply chain departments.
