A new UL male tab that accepts traditional "push on" quick-connects as well as their new patented FlatSnap(r) vibration-resistant, snap-in unisex connector is being introduced by ETCO Incorporated of Warwick, Rhode Island.

The ETCO Combination UL Male Tab functions exactly the same as a traditional male tab, but also accepts the firm's FlatSnap(r) snap-in unisex connector which is easier to connect and cannot pull apart during assembly and shipping. Requiring a push-pull motion and only 4 lbs. of force to install, the connector locks onto the tab and reduces service incident reports (SIR).

Providing a greater surface contact area than conventional UL male tabs, the ETCO Combination UL Male Tab exhibits significant performance advantages when tested per UL 310. It is available in .032" x .250" and other sizes made from nickel plated steel and various high temperature alloys. Applica- tions include terminal blocks, switches, PCBs, and heating elements.

ETCO Combination UL Male Tabs are priced from $15. to $300. per thousand, depending upon material and quantity. Samples are available upon request.
