Science Applications International Corporation (NYSE:SAI has been
awarded a follow-on contract to provide global network managed services
to INEOS, a manufacturer of petrochemicals, specialty chemicals and oil
products.
The single-award, time and materials, firm-fixed-price contract has
a 42-month base period of performance with a one-year option and a total
value of $18 million if the option is exercised.
SAIC will assume operational control of INEOS Global Network
Services, managing the operation, maintenance and monitoring of INEOS
global wide area network, perimeter security, Internet browsing,
intrusion prevention and infrastructure. Work will be performed in the
U.S., United Kingdom and other international locations as required.

deliver managed network and security services and strengthens our focus
on the commercial energy market," said Doug Charles, SAIC senior
vice president and business unit general manager.
