INTRODUCTIONS
INTRODUCED IN 1982, the original Yremulator created for Ry Cooder
kicked off the Demeter pedal line and has since been used by Eric
Clapton, Keith Richards, Steve Carnelli, and thousands of other
guitarists. It was named one of the 50 coolest effects of all time by
Guitar Player magazine. In celebration of the Tremulator's 25th
anniversary, Demeter Amplification is introducing the Stereo Tremulator.
With exactly the same sound as the original when hooked up to one
amp, this pedal adds a whole new dimension in sound when used in stereo.
Hooked up two amps, the Tremolo effect can be used in sync with both
speakers rising and lowering in volume together. Or, running the Stereo
Tremulator like an old Magnatone amp, out of sync, with the sound
pulsing side to side, the user can flip the phase switch and put the
audio signals out of phase for that subtle swirling sound. The controls
are: speed, depth ch 1, depth ch 2, bypass foot switch, phase switch,
tremolo sync in and out switch, and two dwell trim pots (the unit is
preset with Ry Cooder favorite setting). List price is $359.
