SINCE PREMIERING at the 2007 NAMM show, the bass drum pedal from The Drumnetics Company, LLC, has attracted considerable interest for its use of magnetic repulsion instead of conventional spring applications. At the centerline of the pedal board and base plate configuration, two Rare EarthNeo-dymium magnets face each other, creating the field of magnetic repulsion that supplies the pedal's throw and return action. The pedal responds and moves purely in response to the naturally occurring magnetic field--a unique design conceived for an efficiently smooth, immediate action.

This pedal joins components machined of high-grade aluminum with a personal attention to each pedal's assembly by Drumnetics founder Michael Van Dyk. High-precision bearings at the primary moving connections, a unified system of adjustability, and the ultimately fluid "Drumnetic" feel combine for maximum utility. This pedal will be new in stores during the coming year.
