Series launches pulse/waveform generator combination.

EE-Evaluation Engineering • Jan, 2008 • PRODUCT BRIEFING

The Pulse Master Series PM8571 and PM8572 are 50-MHz single- and dual-channel pulse/pattern generators that execute commands to emulate nearly all new and discontinued pulse generators on the market. They also produce a range of standard, arbitrary, and sequenced waveforms needed in laboratories.

The 2U half-rack-sized models also offer the capabilities of a 100-MHz function generator and a 300-MS/s, 16-b arbitrary waveform/sequence generator. Features include 10-ps pulse resolution with 4-ns transition time; 32 Vpp into open-circuit with programmable output impedance; internal PWM modulation and external width control; a 3.8" color LCD; free ArbConnection software; Ethernet, USB, and GPIB interfaces; and multi-instrument synchronization. The list of run modes consists of continuous, trigger, burst, gated, retrigger with trigger, and system delay control. Tabor Electronics, www.rsleads.com/801ee-208
