Qatar Airways took delivery of its first Boeing aircraft on 29 November--a 777-300ER arriving after an almost 15-hour direct flight from Paine Field in Everett, Washington. Qatar has ordered a total of 27 777s, with options for an additional five aircraft. At the recent Dubai Air Show, the airline also announced orders for 30 787s. Also in Dubai, Boeing's largest 777 customer, Emirates, announced an order for 12 777-300ERs, worth $3.2 billion at list prices. Emirates has ordered a total of 110 777s through direct purchase and lease. Other Dubai orders came from DAE Leasing ("proposal acceptance" for 70 737s, 15 787s, 10 777-300ERs and five 747-8Fs), LCAL (six 787-8s) and Royal Jordanian (two 787-8s).
