Taking center stage was a new mid- to high-speed endload cartoner,
the CELOX. The sleek, machine is packed with features designed to
enhance operator interface and accessibility, permit rapid changeover
and make for minimal maintenance.
Accompanying the CELOX on the show floor was a machine called the
Evolution, billed as "the world's fastest vertical
bagmaker." With its patented, independently-phased twin sealing
jaws, the continuous-motion bagmaker can attain production throughput of
over 225 bags per minute. Snack food and confectionery manufacturing
lines have never been faster.
Elsewhere at the booth, a topload carton closer was unveiled in a
live webcast. The machine, which turns cartons in midstream for
high-speed (200+ cpm) "straight-line" carton closing, extends
the line of the company's variable flight pitch machines and takes
high-performance topload carton closing to a new level.
