The thirteenth annual Minority Writers Seminar is May 1-4, 2008, in Nashville, at the Freedom Forum Diversity Institute at Vanderbilt University.

Enrollment is limited to twenty experienced minority journalists for the highly successful seminar sponsored by the National Conference of Editorial Writers Foundation in partnership with the Diversity Institute.

The program's purpose is to give participants an opportunity to explore the nuts and bolts of opinion writing and encourage them to consider making a career move. Minority journalists who have been writing opinion fewer than two years may apply.

NCEW Foundation pays for lodging and food at the seminar and reimburses participants up to two hundred dollars each for their transportation to and from Nashville.
