The Institute for Business and Finance Research (IBFR; Hilo, HI),
an organization that promotes the study of business, finance,
accounting, marketing, economics, management, information technology and
related fields, has begun the publication of three new journals
including "The International Journal of Business and Finance
Research" (IJBFR), "International Journal of Management and
Marketing Research" (IJMMR) and "Global Journal of Business
Research" (GJBR). All three titles will be produced twice a year.
"IJBFR" publishes articles in all areas of finance,
accounting and economics as well as selected articles in other areas of
business. The premier issue includes articles on: the relationship
between iShares and country funds; the rationality of the Columbian
Exchange market; market sector reactions to 9-11; foreign direct
investment in South America; and, narrow price limit and stock price
volatility in merging markets.
"IJMMR" publishes articles in all areas of management,
marketing and related fields. The initial issue carried articles on:
comparisons and contrasts of business-to-business and
business-to-consumer marketing, relationship management, marketing
strategy development, electronic commerce, supply chain management and
market analysis.
"GJBR" publishes articles in all areas of business,
including marketing and advertising, management, accounting and
finances, human resources, business ethics, business law, electronic
commerce, information technology, sustainability, taxation and
education. The first issue includes articles on: the neutrality of fuel
surcharges; economic growth and environmental pollution; models of
competition; effects of internal migration; productive benefits and
labor competence; venture capital financing in Africa; and, ethical
management behavior.
