World Scientific Publishing (Hackensack, NJ/Singapore) will begin
the publication of three new journals with issues in the first quarter
of 2008. The titles include "Optics and Photonics Letter,"
"International Journal of Biomathematics" and "Multiscale
Modelling."
"Optics and Photonics Letter" is an open access quarterly
journal that offers dissemination of results in various fields of optics
and photonics, with an emphasis on optical sciences and technology.
Content covers such topics as free-space optics, integrated and fiber
optics, nonlinear optics, bio/ nano- optics, photonic materials and
devices, and optical and photonic technology.
To be published quarterly both in print and electronically,
"International Journal of Biomathematics" will present
information on the latest developments in biomathematics, mathematical
ecology, infectious disease dynamical systems, biostatistics and
bioinformatics.
"Multiscale Modeling" is a quarterly research journal
targeted to scientists and engineers involved in material science, fluid
dynamics, chemistry and biology. Content covers research results in
composite and polymer materials, microstructures, nanomaterials, opto
electronics, simulation, environmental applications and impact, and
chemistry and biology systems.
