Advanstar Communications (Woodland Hills, CA) has acquired CBI Research (Woburn, MA), a producer of live and electronic conferences for senior-level executives in the pharmaceutical, medical device, risk and insurance, and biotechnology industries. CBI produces over 100 conferences and webinars yearly covering fields such as early stage product development, medical imaging, patient assistance, e-marketing, clinical trial management systems, risk management, and valuation of early stage assets.
