MADISON -- Gun and ammunition maker Remington Arms bought North
Haven, Conn.-based Marlin Firearms, which makes rifles and shotguns. The
family-owned company also owns the Harrington and Richardson, New
England Firearms and LC Smith brands. Terms were not disclosed.
