CHARLOTTE -- Nexxus Lighting, which uses light-emitting diodes to
make traffic lights, electronic signs and other products, agreed to buy
Maple Grove, Minn.-based Lumificient, which makes LEDs. Terms of the
sale, expected to close by the end of April, were not announced.
