Editor's Note: For over 40 years, CropLife America has presented the
Lea S. Hitchner Service Award annually to a representative of one
its member companies. Named for the association's first President,
the award recognizes outstanding service to CropLife America
and the crop protection industry. Recipients have come from varying
backgrounds and careers within the member companies, including CEOs,
research, government affairs, regulatory, marketing and other
disciplines.
